Ready Frost was born to a Union ER Nurse and a Navy Veteran. After drifting rudderless for a bit he followed the promise of a better life that the Union Carpenter apprenticeship offered, and Ready Frost started his career in Bozeman.

After spending a year commuting each month to Butte for Local 82’s Union meeting, he fell in love with Butte and her people. In moving to Butte, America, Ready Frost felt a deep compulsion to know and understand what was going on in his community. Since then, he’s spent nearly every Wednesday evening on the Court House’s third floor in the Council of Commissioner’s Chambers. He’s the Political Action Chair of Montana’s Local 82, and the Chair of the Butte-Silver Bow Democrats Central Committee.

On weekends if he’s not working on getting better candidates elected statewide, or doing volunteer work through the Aging at Home Program, he’s most certainly working on rehabilitation of his home on Roberts Avenue.
